SSS uses the income and asset information in the financial aid application itself to assess the family situation and automatically applies a waiver if the family qualifies. Qualifying families will simply bypass all payment screens when their PFS is complete. SSS also distributes fee waivers to access organizations that share our goal of broadening access to independent education for young people.

If you are part of a non-profit organization interested in providing fee waivers to families, feel free to contact Aicha Thomas, SSS Client Success Associate, at 202.973.9777 or email her at thomas@nais.org.
