Applying for financial aid begins with each family completing a Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) to submit to your school via School and Student Services by NAIS (SSS). Your INFAP journey begins by completing this assignment to gain valuable insight into the PFS process experienced by parents, making you a much better advocate for parents, and the experience continues through on-site exercises intended to simulate the actions and choices required to make you a savvy financial aid professional.
Completing this assignment will populate your school’s School Portal account with the PFS and tax documents that we will review during one of our early on-site sessions. You must have this PFS record in your School Portal account, so don’t neglect completing the exercise.
Your pre-work assignment has four distinct components due by July 24, 2014.
1. Successfully login to the SSS School Portal using these access and setup instructions.
2. Login to the SSS Family Portal and complete a Parents’ Financial Statement using the information provided here.
